		<description>I would also advise checking to see how the insurer pays the claims. When my Jack Russell  needed an operation on her paw. I had to pay the vet directly there and then and then put a claim in to my insurance company. They did pay out quickly within anout two weeks, but this can be another thing to worry about in addition to stressing about my dog. 

I know some pet insuers like www.healthy-pets.co.uk, provide the option of paying the vet direct or to you. 

I guess it depends what the vet prefers.</description>
